Baredoc does not collect, store, sell or share any data about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What Baredoc does with your documents

Baredoc reads the PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files you choose, shows you the hidden details inside them, makes a clean copy with those details removed, and gives the copy back to you to share or save. All of this happens on your iPhone. Your documents are never uploaded to us or to any other server, and we have no servers that could receive them. Baredoc does not use the network.

Access to your files

Baredoc can only open the files you pick in the file picker or send to it with the share sheet. It cannot browse your other files. It keeps a temporary working copy while you use it and deletes that copy when you tap Start over or Done, or when the system clears its temporary storage.

Data we collect

None. Baredoc has no analytics, crash reporting or advertising tools, and contains no third-party code that collects data. The system may store a few standard settings on your phone. They stay on your phone.

Your originals

Baredoc never changes or deletes your original files. Cleaned files are new copies.

Children

Baredoc collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
